Madam Gladys Anayem, Executive Director of International Women’s Hope Centre (IWHC), recently concluded a three-day working visit to the organization’s Builsa office. The visit aimed to engage with local Stakeholders, Staff, and Community members.
Day 1: Staff Refreshment and Community Outreach
The visit began with an in-house meeting with IWHC staff at Sandema, where they were refreshed on topics from the “Relationship Under Construction” curriculum. The team also made a donation to the Sandema District Hospital, providing baby supplies to 20 expecting mothers.











Day 2: Empowering Young Minds
On the second day, Madam Anayem interacted with pupils from Nyanja Junior High School, educating them on crucial topics such as sexual abstinence and the consequences of pre-marital sex. The students were empowered with knowledge to make informed choices about their lives.



Day 3: Skills Training for Women
The visit culminated in a skills training program for over 40 women from the Suwarinsa community. The women were trained in liquid soap production, equipping them with a valuable skill to generate income. The participants expressed gratitude to IWHC for the training, which will undoubtedly improve their livelihoods.
The visit demonstrated IWHC’s commitment to empowering women and young people in the Builsa community.
